Andrea Ackermann

Andrea (she/her) serves as the Pastor of Community Life and an elder at Christ City Church in Washington, D.C. Growing up in Prince George’s County, Maryland, as a Korean American adoptee and pastor’s kid who loved being at church every day of the week, Andrea is passionate about cultivating spaces in faith communities where people can thrive, especially women and people of color. She holds a Master of Divinity from Fuller Seminary. Andrea lives in D.C.’s Trinidad neighborhood with her husband, their two teenage daughters, and the best little dog, Lucy.
