Jeney Park-Hearn
Jeney Park-Hearn serves as assistant professor of practical theology and formation at Portland Seminary.
With ministry experience spanning hospital chaplaincy, pastoral counseling, congregational care, and English ministries in immigrant churches, Dr. Park-Hearn’s teaching integrates key findings about whole-hearted and relational selfhood in
vocation. She has presented on various platforms (written and spoken) on topics that include vocation, mental health and the church, and self-care. An ordained deacon in the United Methodist church, she is active in a local church in Seattle where she lives with her husband, daughter, and mini-Aussie-doodle. She’s also a fan of Asian desserts and nature treks.
