Rev. Enid M. Almanzar

 
 

Rev. Enid M. Almanzar is a sought-after voice on global policy issues impacting religious communities as well as on Latino evangelicalism and has been mentioned in notable media outlets such as Univision, Christianity Today, and The Christian Post.

She proudly serves as the first female Chair of the National Latino Evangelical Coalition (NaLEC), a consortium of over 3,000 U.S. Hispanic evangelical congregations fighting for biblical justice and is a Global Ambassador for the international evangelism ministry, One Hope. Rev. Almanzar is also a distinguished board member of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE), which represents more than 45,000 congregations from about 40 different denominations. In recognition of these contributions, she was recently named one of 15 Women of Faith on the Frontlines by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

For 20 years, Rev. Almanzar also served in a leadership capacity at American Bible Society, where she oversaw a diverse portfolio of humanitarian programs in over 240 nations and territories; as well as on the pastoral board of the Primitive Christian Church in NYC. She currently resides in the greater NYC area with her husband, Samuel, and her two children, Samuel II and Isabella Raquel.
